How can I help my child including what help is there for me and my family and who can I contact for further information?
There are lots of ways to support your child with their education. Your child’s teacher will give homework regularly and this is will reflect what has been happening in class. It is good to read regularly with and to your child. If there are any specific games for helping with targets these can be given out to be done at home. If possible take opportunities to attend parent workshops about the curriculum. You can also share your talents, knowledge and enthusiasm. If your child is celebrating an event or some success the school encourages parents to join with us in this.
The school has an open door policy and if there are any concerns/questions/problems which need addressing at any time, please contact the school directly.
All our teaching staff are approachable and will provide an immediate point of contact if you have need for support about any issues that concern you and your child. Depending on what support you need the staff can begin to put you in contact with different agencies.
