We believe that accessing the great outdoors is vital for children and supports their physical and spiritual development as well as much more!
As a result of this, every class has a dedicated outdoor learning project to complete each year (as part of the St Michaels curriculum) and must also complete a minimum of four outdoor sessions per week. These sessions may link with the topics being studied or as part of the outdoor progression of skills we have produced in school.
Learning outside of the the class encapsulates using the school grounds, working in the village, activities at Whisby and school trips.
Please ensure that your child has wellies in school at all times.
