We believe that accessing the great outdoors is vital for children and supports their physical and spiritual development as well as much more!
As a result of this, every class completes a minimum of four outdoor learning sessions for each and every topic. These sessions may link with the topics being studied linking to the National Curriculum or as part of the outdoor progression of skills we have produced in school including activities such as bush-craft, team building, cooking and gardening.
Learning outside of the the class encapsulates using the school grounds, working in the village, activities at Whisby and school trips.
Please ensure that your child has wellies in school at all times.
