School Parliament

Our School Parliament is a group of children who have been elected by their peers.  This allows the children to understand and use one of our British Values - Democracy. There are two MP's in each class and they represent the views of the pupils.  The children who have been voted for are working to improve our school community.  Members of parliament are responsible for organising and carrying out ideas that have been discussed and agreed such as:  How to raise money for charity.

The MP's communicate ideas from their class and make proposals for changes that will benefit everyone in the school.

Our Parliament is developing a programme of events for charities which show that our community is our school but also beyond.  They will looking at raising money for charities locally, nationally and internationally.  This links with of school values and how we value everyone.
